AIS (AEONATICAL INFORMATION SERVICE )

A. Responsibility od PIC (Pilot in command )
     a)Pilot must be familiar with the regulation andprocedures of all states to be over flown;
     b)No flight may commence unless,facilities,and service available & operational;
     c)-The ability to comply,depend on the existence of a welll organized AIS
        -Adequtely staff withpersonal trained

B. Responsibility of a state
     Each contrcting state shall :
     . Provide and independent AIS .
     . Join service with one or mpre other contrctingstate .
     . Delegate authrity to a non-govermental agency .
     .Each state shall:
     .Ensure that aeronautical onfprmation it provide is adequte,required quality and timely

Where24 hours service not provided,service sahll be available during the whole period of an aircraft in in flight plus a period of at least 2 hours beore and after suhperiod
The service shall also be avaolable at suchother time as may be requested

C. Responsibilty of AIS :
     To receive,originatem,collate/assemnbleedit,format,publish & store and distribute:
     aeronautical informatio/data,concerning tje entire the teritory of the sate as well as areas in which       the state is responsible for air tradiic service outsideits teritory .
