The term runway-in-use shall be used to indicate the runway on runways that,at the particular time,are considered by aerodrome control tower to be the most suitable for use by the types of aircraft expected to land or take off at the aerodrome .
Normally,am aircraft will land and take off into the wind unless safety,the runway configuration,meterogical condition and available instrument appriach procedures or air traffic conditions determine that a diffrent direction in preferable.In selecting the runway-in-use,however,the unit providing aerodrome control services shall take the into consideration,besides surfaces wind speed and direction,other relevant factors such as the aerodrome traffic circuits,the length of runways,and the approach and aids available

1.Type of aircraft (refer to the size and. weight )
2.Length of runway (refer to TORA and landing roll required );
3.Wind direction and speed
4 .Traffic disposition
5.Better approaches
6.Shorter taxiing distance
7.Position of the sund and other weather phenoma in relation to the runway
8.Necesity to avoid flight over populated. area or other reason to be used
